I'm in the bed

I'm under the covers, barely a lump,
but if I sprang up, I'd totally jump.
You can barely see me, flattened out,
but if you crawled in, you'd probably shout.
I'm under the covers, sneaky sneaky me,
you'd search and search and say, 'Where could I be?'
I'm in here all toasty and really quite cozy,
the whole thing makes me sleepy and totally dozy.
It's just so soft, I'm cuddled all around,
I purr in here so quietly as I stay un-found.
Beneath the comforter, twisted in sheets,
I curl my tail all around my head and my feets.
So nice just to close my eyes and rest,
here in the bed, it's just such the best.
Just when you've given up, I'll show my whiskers a peek,
and you'll find me and laugh and call me a sneak.
Then you'll climb in and it will get even better,
as we snuggle down into the warm bed together.
