Arrival Story:
I kept hearing a kitten cry one morning. I went out to investigate and saw a teeny tiny kitten across the street. I asked around and she didn't belong to anyone but I couldn't catch her. (I stayed out in the rain trying to entice her with food...until my neighbor said she had to leave because of the lightning!) The next morning she was in my neighbors yard on the tire of his truck. It took a while, but I caught her and took her back to where I was pretty sure she came from. He said she wasn't his....she was so sweet and never tried to get away even walking in the drizzling rain. She kept looking up at me with her huge sad eyes on the way back and I was sure I'd end up keeping her! She only weighed 1.5 lbs at her first vet visit. In less than a year, she weighed in a 11 lbs!
