indoors Arrival Story: When we started considering a 3rd cat, we noticed an ad in the paper for kittens. The info. made me think these might be older kittens so I was curious about their story. Plus, we were thinking young male tabby and they were available according to the ad. The phone number led us to a lady who had founded a rescue agency in a town 3 hours away from us. They had rescued 3 orange tabbies from the shelter just days before they would have been put to sleep. I hesitated to drive so far to meet a kitten, but she said, "Let me e-mail you photos." Well the photos were adorable and orange tabbies have such a great reputation that I asked her to keep an eye on them to see whose personality might mesh the best with our two other kittens. I explained that I still wasn't 100% sure about adding a 3rd cat though. I ended up e-mailing her to let her know we were holding off on a 3rd cat and she relpied that she understood and included the most heart-melting photo of "Christian" (his name at the time)...the one she thought might be the best fit for us. Well, that photo and her description of his personality made us reconsider and the rest is history.
