Arrival Story:
In the spring of 1999 we found Ricky climbing on the screen of one of our windows. After trying to find his owners with no success our daughter decided to keep him. Since then her oldest boy has developed a severe allergy to cats, so in February of 2010 Ricky came back to live with us. Ricky appears to be very happy here, he acts like we are here for his convenience.

Ricky's Opinion, The One That Counts

I'm finally on Catster

It's about time I got my "Page to Fame" here.

I'll just bring every one up to speed on my life so far.

When I was just a tiny thing I started climbing the screens on this house. Don't ask me why, it just seemed like the thing to do at the time. Well, a lady came out of the house and got me then she took me door to door to see if I belonged somewhere else. No one claimed me so the lady took me home for keeps. Well, her daughter said she wanted me so I went to live with her. Which was good.
Well she had 3 children, then the oldest developed severe allergies to cats which was starting to cause some health issues for him.

So in February of 2010 I came back here to live. I must say it has been a big improvement for me. I get to roam the whole house instead of being closed in a room away from everyone because of allergies. I even get to sleep on the beds if I want to. Plus it's quieter with no kids playing all the time, which allows for some serious nap-time.

It's been a little sad around here so far this year. In January two of the other cats that lived here went to the bridge. First Simba, then three days later Kissi. Then on February 22 Suzy Q went to the bridge. So I'm the only fur baby left.

When I see that mom is getting upset from all of that sadness I just go sit on her and purr. Mom starts petting me and I can tell she starts feeling calmer.
