I am a hero...it's true. We are in Panama visiting mommy's mommy; who lives on a mountain surrounded by beautiful trees and tons of birdie snacks. One pair of birdie snacks made little baby birdie snacks in the eves of the porch. The porch is way up in the air and COMPLETELY screened in so we kitties can not get out and the out can not get in. Anyway, one night a cloud was very close to us, it came off the mountain to say "hello". I was sitting in a chair minding my own business when I saw it; it did not move and neither did I. I just stared at it, and it just stared at me. Mommy came out to see me and I did not stop starring. Why could she not see it? I know mommy's can't see as well as us kitties, but she walked right next to it and never saw it! She seemed to think I was upset by the very unnatural fact that a cloud had come to say "hi". Fortunately, mommy's mommy is a bit more on the ball and she saw it...on the ledge just outside of the screen was a four foot boa constrictor! Mommy's mommy turned on the porch light and mommy screamed and the boa constrictor jumped off the tiny ledge and has not been seen since. We did notice he went back down the hill very, very slowly. I saved those birdie snacks! I am happy to say that after three days of making sure no snakes were under the bed I am now back to enjoying the porch.

I gonna end up on the "Baddy Boy Report" over this one...but I still says it wasn't my fault. Mommy knows she is supposed to leave food in the dish before she goes to sleepy. So, here goes, I wanted mommy's attention and she was sleeping, so I decided to help her give me attention. I was on the bed, off the bed, on the bed, off the bed. That didn't work, so I started scratching the empty food bowl...no response... then, as I was running from one room to the other at warp speed, I misjudged a corner and made Chiquitita hiss, OK I made her growl, you know that angry cat growl that usually means someone is going to bleed, well that did the trick...a very unhappy mommy was on her feet and throwing food in my bowl, which I ate exactly one bite from before going happily back to sleep in my basket, and anyway, how was I supposed to know it was 2:30 AM? I don't even know what 2:30 AM is!

Today is a GREAT day! Today my long fluttery ribbon was found, and life is good again. For the last several days I have been very sad because we could not find my ribbon on a stick... we were afraid that the lady with the vacuum, who comes every Thursday afternoon, might have mistaken it for trash and thrown it away. HOWEVER, this morning mommy found it tucked safely away in a closet. We played ribbon for about a half of an hour and I am currently napping on my ribbon so it can not disappear again... life is good...
