Arrival Story:
I first saw Iggy as a kitten, I was sitting on our front stairs and this mischievous little black furrball is running on the sidewalk. Of course I went to see him and he let me pick him up and put him on my lap. Then I met his owner, it's the same idiot who had Luke and abandoned him, he's come and gone from the neighbourhood a few times always skipping out mid month. So I learned his name (Blackie) and whispered to the little guy that if he needed help to come to us. Over the next few months I often saw him outside. He knew our front door and he knew our deck so he would show up to either and ask for food or feline company. He loves Cooter, follows him around like his idol and he is always sniffing the other cats. We didn't let him stay inside but he did love to run thru the house from the front to the back so he can hang out on our deck. It seemed like a game to him sometimes. We often called him Kitten and then thought he was the cat version of Iggy Pop, skinny and spazzy, it just fit. A year later when it was spring we noticed that Iggy was outside all the time. He was hanging out on our deck day & night, craving attention and hungry... And like expected in August idiot disappeared with his kids, the difference this time is we have not seen him back. Of course as winter came again we started letting him in a few hours to eat and nap in warmth. He was left all alone outside and just loves being inside with us and our cats so we let him hang out but always reminding him he was not ours. Then in January 2011 I took him to the vet to get checked out and had him fixed, he growled the entire time... In mid February we let him out and when he came back the next night he was a little scratched up and he just wanted to nap. He proceeded to nap for the next day or two and till we checked him out more and noticed his eye was scratched and infected, further investigation showed bite wounds on his neck in the front and back, we think a dog got to him. I was giving him eye cream left over from Cooter who scratched his eye a little in the fall. But Iggy's eye was horrible and getting worst; off to the vet he went where we had to give him medication and drops. Iggy was forced to stay indoors for 3 weeks straight and in that time became more loving towards us and Luke & Sissy. He is always trying to sniff and lick the other cats... Iggy wears a collar now when he goes outside. So as much as I didn't want to adopt another cat, I think we have, I just don't think the hubby knows it yet...

Bio:
I am very curious! I love to be in the middle of everything, I love toys and anything with catnip, I love to sniff every cat, I love to eat out of every bowl, I love to sleep in other cats beds and I love to lick Luke and Sissy. They don't like that very much, I don't know why... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What I look like: I am all black and look like a bulldog trapped in a cat's body. I have a very hard feeling body and walk like I am always on a mission. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ About me: I am quite independent and I like to play by myself. When I want to play I seek out a brother to wrestle with. My pawrents often ruin the fun because they say I play too rough. I also enjoy sniffing butt but they don't seem to like me doing that, so sometimes I bite it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My purrsonality: My pawrents think I am bi-polar, sometimes all I want to do is lick Luke and other time all I want to do is wrestle him. Sometimes I just want to hang out near my siblings while other times all I want to do is attack them, one by one. I've even been known to want pet only to start biting the hand that touches me...
