Linus' real mommy is Lucy who is a very smart cat - she graduated from college with Stephanie and came home with her. Surprise! She also came home pregnant (Lucy, not Stephanie). Linus was the only male in a litter of four kittens. From the day he was born he was bigger than everyone and ate all he could get. Until Miranda came, he was the baby of the group. He did not give up his place happily.
October 12, 2011, Linus went missing. "Coming Home Tonight" became our theme song. For five long terrible weeks I looked everywhere, did everything possible and some impossible things, too! By sheer miracle, Linus found us three miles from home when we went to visit a friend's farm on November 18. So, Linus now has a "gotcha" date of sorts and we leave his page with memories of that time as a memorial to all the missing kitties whose families purr and pray for them to come home, too.

It be a cold dark night outside. Dad sitting in the recliner watching TV. Fire in the fireplace. Mom sitting at her computer. Kitties sleeping around the round (except my mom Lucy who is scratching on the carpet). Mom watch my little white feet wiggle while I sleep in a big round ball beside her. So comfy, so warm. Whiskers wiggle. Little feet flex..... just what do I dream about? Butterflies to chase, the old days when I played in the yard.... I seem so happy and at peace. Just what Do we kitties dream about? My sweet Lacey of course.

Lacey, I have a lovely place for dinner where they make yummy shimp scampi just for you! We can eat at Keeneland and watch the ponies run around in circles. Some catnip wine to sip on the side (always goes well with seafood). Sweet headbonks and kitty hugs!

This little bag came in the mail today. Good things come in small packages - big packages, too, but that is another story. Inside was the cutest little iCat. An iCat is the little tiny kitty that fits into the earjack port on your iPhone. And the one Mom got looks just like me!!! Gray and white!!! I am so honored - and so is that iphone cause it's carrying a little copy of me!
