Mom does not come to Catster like we used to, but for our friends who are still here, she and I wanted to let you know that I am pretty sick. Dr. Stacey told us yesterday that I have cancer in my intestines. I haven't been feeling well, losing weight. I am still eating some and mom sees to it that I get to eat whatever I want. But we all know that time may be short. Will enjoy whatever time is left.

Well, perhaps depends on your point of view. Could be worse. Steph took me to vet two days ago. I have lost a pound in two months. Blood work suggests IBS. Guess we have a lot to learn now. Know Lacey and Finn's mom is an expert on this. Know comments cannot be made here and that out are all there for me..

Tomorrow is Catmus and I am usually rough, tough, and a bit caustic. But I am feeling my age lately, slowing down, lost some weight. My hyperthyroid is sort of catching up with me. Mom and Steph have made an appointment for me at the vet after Christmas because I am just not myself. I see so many of my furrends are gone - some because they, too, have aged and crossed over. Others because they got tired of waiting for Catster to be completely restored. Some are on FB. Some are just - gone. It dawns on me today that I have less Christmases before me than behind me. I just wanna say how much I luv all my furrends here. Wishing everyone a bootiful holiday.

Mom had a great thing happen today on my birthday! She found a lost kitty in the remains of a wrecked up trailer home. The people who had lived there said she wasn't their kitty, but had been around since the tornado. Kitty looks a little like me! She had a healing cut on the side of her head. She purred and purred when Mom picked her up. Mom called the Humane Society that had set up a place for found pets from the disaster. They told her where to take the kitty, but she didn't want to do that right away. Instead she carried the kitty with her as she visited the people in the area. A little later, a man installing electrical lines mentioned a family at the other end of the road who might have lost their kitty. Mom went there and she was their kitty! They were so happy and so was kitty!
