Okay, so mom and dad be fostering little kittens who need homes. That be okay. It even be kinda cool that Dad's work place found poor lost and trapped little Amielle and we be looking her her family and trying to get her a new one....but this beat all. Stephanie got a call from the sheriff's office today. They found three quarter horses wandering on a twisty turny highway. Pretty horses, well cared for, but cannot find their owners. None of the local farms claimin' them. Now we fostering found horses! How does one lose three horses and not miss them????

Sorry to say this but people are just letting their horses run free now because they don't have money to feed them! Instead of calling the Humane Society, they just let them go or even starve them. Sickening!
That same thing is happening here as well. Very sad indeed. Glad your family is able to take them in. It's just so sad what people do to their animals. Bless you!
I've also heard of people just letting their horses go since they can't afford to feed them - so sad.
Friends from mom's trail group trailered their horses to the park and went riding. When they came back, two other horses were tied to the trailer and just left there. Also, another friend went to feed her horses out in the pasture and found an extra one out there. Not very nice. I hope the ones you took in just escaped somehow. Or they find their owners and fine them.
Very sad. Hoping they find the owners or find them a new home!
So sad people have to resort to just letting their horses go and leave them...your parents are very special to take in these horses in and help them...
This economy is in bad shape that people have to resort to doing these kinds of things...
We sure hope they will find a loving home
Mom seen a kitten this morning in the middle of the road eating something in a wrapper. The kitten ran when it seen cars but mom thought "Oh God, Help this kit get full so he can live." Cause it is a very, very busy intersection where he was. If Mom wasn't running late (as usual) she probably would have shared her biscuit with the baby.
I wish all babies had a home and all owners had the money and the love to give to them.
You guys are a blessing to all animal kind.
Good news! The family turned up tonight. They had been out of town and someone supposed to be checking the horses. The guy came to cut hay and forgot to close the gate. They came home tonight and couldn't find the horses and completely freaked out, called the police who referred her to the sheriff -- and connected them to us. Very happy ending this time! And they made a donation to the horse program to cover their feed.
OMC that's pawsome!!!! HURRAY for happy endings!!!
Hey.....well, hey is for horses...glad they are ok! Hey Zoe, did your mom go back and search for the kitty?
