Arrival Story:
Born on a farm in Iowa, Samson's cat mom was killed by a tractor and the rest of his litter by a wild animal. The lone survivor, Samson was hand raised until he was brought to Earl May Nursery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to be adopted. Just hours after he was dropped off at Earl May and days after his human mom lost her cat of 19 years, Patches, Samson was adopted!

Fellow Kitties!

First, I must apologize for my hiatus from Catster. I've been busy supporting my human and helping with all her human life issues--bipeds they just don't know how to go limp with relaxation in the sun! I kept meowing at her to break out the catnip and go crazy, but you know humans, they never listen to us four-legged fuzzies.

But I had to tell all my furry friends about a major milestone in this cat's life. I flew! No, not like those tantalizing creatures we stare at for hours while lounging on our favorite window sills. I flew in a much larger thing--a metal thing with my human.

I was stared at and cooed over by many strangers, especially when I ventured out of my favorite red Sherpa travel house to walk through a contraption that looked for what the humans call "metal."

I must say I fancy myself a bit of a frequent flier now. I'm much better at it than any bird I might add, I can fly with out moving a muscle after all. I even found I could fly while cat napping. And that is the real way to fly, the cat's way, without leaving your comfy travel houses and in the lap of luxury.

Any other frequent fliers out there? Tell me about your travel stories!

Paws out,

Update: Project Spread the Luv

Well fellow fuzzies, my mom went to Petsmart the other day simply to buy me my favorite food. And as per usual, can't help but take a peek at the kitties on display searching for their furever homes. Gotta tell ya', I'm glad I've got mine already, aren't you? It's tough enough being cute at home ... you really gotta turn on the catty charm when your on the hunt for a human. It's exhausting!

She was particularly drawn to a possible brofur named Duncan, but hasn't brought him home yet. I get to meet him this weekend. Put in my two paws, ya' know! My opinions hold great weight in my house. I am, after all, the King of the castle. Am I ready to share the thrown? Only time will tell ...

Paws out.

A Bit of Samson Luv to All!

Well, my goodness! Only one diary entry written and I got Diary of the Day! Much Samson luv to all my new furiends and thanks you for the conCATulations!

I told Mommy about this "fantabulous" win and she didn't even know such a thing was possible. She was so proud I got an extra treat ... or two ... or three.

So, last entry I was waxing poetic about the trials and tribulations of the single kitty life. And I will tell you one thing, it's not all bad. You do get all your human's attention, but after all your messages, my mommy is thinking that a new brofur or sisfur might be in order. I will keep you all updated on ...

"Project Spread the Luv: The Hunt for Samson's Catty Sibling"

On another paw, this was a great day. I got to go to work with Mommy! Well, no. Not like that. All the "cold white stuff" came down and my Mommy got to work from home. It was fun ... I even made my opinion heard when Mommy was on a teleconference.

"No, no, no. What is this business travel budget you speakz of?? A litter box in every corner! Fancy Feast at the cafeteria! That's where your moneyz should be used!"

"Let the catties in the office!!"

That's what I was saying, but then Mommy muted the phone, gave me a treat and I was happy.

That's all fur now fellow fuzzies!

Paws out.
