It is nice to celebrate another Gotcha Day. I am so glad I got to come live at my house with my mom & dad.

We've had some different brands of duck and we like some and not others, so your mom might want to try different brands (if she hasn't already). We like the Natural Balance wet duck and green peas at first, but then my sister quit liking it (we all still like the Nat. Balance dry duck and green peas. We all like the Evo wet duck food. I'm so sorry you're itchy, Ethan. That can't feel good. Is there a different protein you could try? Rabbit, venison? I think Lola didn't like duck so much, either, but she liked venison. It still took a while of mixing her regular food with it to get her to eat the venison straight up. I hope you find something you like. We're purring for you. Happy Gotcha Day! Have you taken a look at Nature's Variety Instinct Food? They have canned duck, venison and rabbit. We LOVE the Rabbit. YUM! We like wag too. You get the orders sometimes next day! Purring that your itchies go away and that you will like your new food your mommy ordered. Maybe your mommy can go to Petco or PetsMart....they have a BIG selection of holistic and all natural foods....duck (never mind, you don't like duck), buffalo, venison, rabbit, salmon, etc.... Wow thanks everyone for the great ideas! My mom is going to try much of them. I do like the salmon & peas but after 3 meals of it, am a bit bored with it. I like variety. I'll keep ya updated. Oh sweet kitty Happy got cha day, so sorry you are feeling not so good, we do not know much about food allergy's but can you try the stage 2 baby food like is always suggested for sick kitties, I know you cannot live off of it but it might make nice treat. I don't have allergies to food but I am allergic to fleas and if I don't get my flea treatment on time it makes me itch. it not much fun but I'm sure your mum will find something you can eat that you'll like. This is something you can ask your Vet if it's okay for you: I had itches too and used to get a Depo-medrol shot every few weeks which really helped. Then I didn't need it anymore after awhile, for many years. Now I get it again to help with little bumps that are in my mouth which the vet found when she pulled out some teeth. So ask if it's good and safe for you to have that shot. Another thing is most Vets don't mind when you go to another Vet for another opinion. Sometimes one vet specializes in something more than your vet does. I hope this helps! Love Tabatha xo Hi Tabatha- I can't have the depo-medrol shot nor any steroids due to my bad heart. The depo shot stays in your system a bit as you know so if you have a bad reaction not a lot can be done. My cardiologist said it has caused heart failure in some cats so she won't risk it. Between my cardiologist and my regular vet, it gives me 2 different opinions. But would not rule out a third if things don't go well. Thanks for your suggestions!!
