A Time For Healing

As some of you know, my mom has not been doing too well of late. She's been in the hospital a couple of times in the last few weeks. Oh do I miss her when she is away. My dad takes very good care of Ethan and me whole she is gone but it just is not the same. I didn't eat much the last time even though he tried hand-feeding me. My mom always does that and that is our special time. Well one of many special times we have together. She's starting to do much better so that makes me very happy.

It has gotten very cold outside. Snow is predicted for this coming weekend. I am sure going to miss having the doors and windows open to watch the birds and other wildlife outside. I know that they will all be back again late next Spring at least.

I just wanted to post in my diary to let all our furriends know why we might be behind in messages, etc. We will slowly get caught up before too long. One other note today and I'd like to wish a Happy 20th Birthday to my good friend Scooter! She's a very special kitty as we all know.
