The Barn

We have a new barn on our property. It's pretty big. I guess my dad wanted it to put all his lawn mowers and stuff in it. I have heard my mom saying she wants to get a goat. Or was that get my dad's goat? Mol! I don't know if she is serious about it but I think maybe I would like a goat to play with. They are pretty cute. We don't have a farm or anything like that but we have lots of land and now a barn. My mom took me out to see the new barn right after it was finished. I freaked out! I kind of liked the old shed that used to be out there. It smelled of mice and other things that all us cats love. This new barn smelled like wood and even had piles of sawdust still on the floor when I was there. I was tugging and pulling on my leash to get the heck outta there in a hurry! My mom never even got to show me the loft. My dad is painting the barn now so maybe once all that is done I will feel better about exploring it and its features. I've always been pretty laid back but just may be becoming a bit of a wimp in my middle age. Nah!
