Yesterday the Budweiser Clydesdale horses were in town. My mom was very disappointed that she could not go see them due to the time they were here. I was pretty interested in them myself. I think because I am such a big cat and kind of like a Clydesdale Cat. MOL! Anyway I wanted to share some interesting facts about them. A Budweiser Clydesdale must stand 6 feet tall at the shoulder an weigh between 1,800 and 2,000 pounds. They must be at least 4 years old and a gelding. They must be bay in color, have four white feet, a white face and black mane and tail. Each horse eats as much as 20 to 25 quarts of whole grains, minerals and vitamins and 50 to 60 pounds of hay and drinks 30 gallons of water daily. Clydesdale horseshoes are more than 20 inches long and weigh five pounds. Not to mention how pretty the horses all look! Oh and Anheuser-Busch gets $30,000 for an appearance by the horses. Now I think I am gonna have to negotiate a contract to see what a Clydesdale Cat can get. Hehehe.
Love,
Louis
