My sister-in-law went out to feed her horse and when she picked up a bale of hay, she saw five little things scurry away and she screamed, she thought they were rats. My brother calmed her down and they started feeding the momma cause she looked very hungry and dirty. We went to "visit"...we didn't want another cat. But my daughter threw a tantrum and after about two weeks we gave in and brought the little "rat" home.
