Arrival Story:
Cindy Lou literally showed up at our front door one cold January Sunday morning in 2011. Our neighbor told us she had been hanging around for about 4 days and she was very friendly. Since it was going to be 4 degrees that night, we brought her in to spend the night in our basement. We took her to the vet on Tuesday and found out she was about one year old and a spayed female. We tried to find her owners, but it became apparent that someone left this sweet young girl to fend for herself in the snow. We introduced her to Murray, Willie and Pearl after she saw the vet and had all her shots and within 2 days, everything was much better than we expected it would be.

Nothing bothers this happy, spunky little girl. She is fearless, independent, funny and makes herself right at home wherever she is. She loves to eat, play, and sit on the top perch (gasp) in the cat tree where Willie sits every night. She has bonded with Willie as he is the only one who will play with her. They wrestle and kick their feet up at each other when they have each other in a headlock.

Wow, today is my Gotcha Day! I wandered up to the door here in the snow and have been here ever since. Dad says I am an independent little girl who usually keeps to myself. Well, once in awhile I do enjoy pestering Pearl. All in all, it's a pretty good life.

Thank you!

I just wanted to say thanks to my friends who stopped by to say "Happy Birthday/Gotcha Day" to me. Mom and Dad were off this weekend to spend time with us kitties, which therefore means we got treats and more snackies and then more treats everytime we gave them the wide-eye treatment (they are suckers for our pretty faces).

Thanks to the following kitties and their families for stopping by my page this weekend:

Ashley G
Angel Alex
Big Harry

It is so cooooolld here. It's snowing tonight!! Glad I'm inside where it's toasty warm.

One Year Already!!!

I can't believe it has been a whole year since I showed up at the front door here in the freezing cold. Dad opened the door and there I was, my nose pressed up against the storm door. Murray walked up and said "what the meow is this!"

To make a long fish tale short, here I am a year later. Warm and snuggly, and well-fed. I have perches, cat trees, treats, catnip, toys and a fun family. Okay, I admit it, I am spoiled rotten. But so what, I mean, shouldn't us kitties all be spoiled?? Guess I am a lucky kitty. Dr. Winter said I was not outside long and it was a good thing I was found. The neighbors told Dad that they had seen me in their yard about 5 days before I was taken in. Angel Ashley said he picked this family especially for me. Thanks Ashley!
