Thank you for the bottom of my little angel heart...

Over a thousand people signed our Say It For Silvio! campaign against shelter director Dr. Sara Pizano, one of several big movements that occurred blowing the lid off of the deplorable conditions at the MDAS shelter- it gave many other pawparents the courage to speak up about similar things that happened to their little furbabies as well.

The campaign at goverment center (see my pics of mommy), legal battle against MDAS' inhumane and unimaginable heartsticking incident (and subsequent removal of video monitoring by Pizano which was how the incident was caught), as well as the distemper outbreak, were all nails in the coffin that was Dr. Sara Pizano's carrer. I am so happy to tell you that Dr. Pizano, the target of our campaign, has resigned:

The even better news is that a new and more modern $14 million shelter is in the works!

Luckily, my sisfur Tabatha was spared from MDAS and even though I became an angel from the neglect of MDAS, I know I went to heaven surrounded by the love of my family and all of YOUR love did make a change!

This is great mews!!! Glad part one is done...now, can she be charged with anything??? She needs to lose her licence, at the furry least!

Oh My Dear!
May I approach you here at Rainbow Bridge and groom you?
I understand so well...as does mommy and daddy.
I was 'treated' by a vet who shouldn't have put a hand on me, and my mom and dad don't even know half of what happened...

Lets all speak up for those in our world....who simply can't for themselves. May blessings be bestowed upon your wonderful parwrents, and all who spoke out.

That is wonderful news...mom cried tears of joy when she read the diary. We are so happy that your pawparents hard work is paying off. Your pawparents are awesome people and they have a heart of gold.

Oh wow you all did wonderful work with the signatures for Little Silvio Angel!

I'm glad that Doctor is gone and that a new shelter is in the works; I hope it's ready now!

Thanks to people like you who rescue us kitties and puppies and give us a better life :] I had trouble finding the petition if it is still available I would like to sign it. Otherwise congrats for making a difference :]

Cami, Thank you so much! We did turn the petition in, so it is no longer available to sign, but just to know you read our story touched our hearts. Mommy read your stories when she saw your brofur's diary and was so happy to see that such wonderful kitties found the furever home that you deserve! Love and whisker kisses to you! xoxo
