Arrival Story:
This little guy was living in my crawlspace until I was able to capture him in a trap borrowed from a local shelter. He is now staying with my son. He would like to keep the kitty, but can't, because his long hours and varied work schedule don't allow him the time necessary to properly housetrain the kitten. My two cats will not accept other pets, so I can't keep him either. The hope is that some kind soul will adopt this cute, friendly, and playful little guy. Update: my son, Rich, has decided to keep him after all. I'm happy, since I know that they are a great team!

This little guy is orange and white with tabby markings.

My new life

I broke my leg. :( I like to climb into the ceiling of the basement, and hide. My owner had visitors (they called it a "New Year's Eve party") so I was just hanging around, but this time, I fell while trying to jump down, and I caught my leg on some exercise thinghy, and it twisted and broke! It hurt really bad! Luckily for me, Purdue North Central is just down the highway, from our house, so I was taken to their emergency clinic, and patched up in time to get home and celebrate the New Year. By then, I was too tired to care, so I curled up under the bed to sleep off my adventure. I have to see my regular vet in a day or so, to make sure everything is ok. That is all (that is enough).

I got an update on Ace, while talking to my son, last night, 2/18. Ace is doing well, and is still "fetching" like a dog. He is a very intelligent kitty. He knows how to turn on the computer, so he can lay on it to stay warm. He also turns on the printer, to hear the noise it makes. I think that Rich may come home from work one day to find Ace printing docs that he has typed, MOL! He also figured out how to flush the toilet, which really freaked my son out, since there were no other humans in the house. Ace is an endless source of entertainment. He also has a new kitty sister, named Shadow, who has been part of the family for about 6 months. I think he's happy to have another kitty friend to play with.

As Catster's time draws to a close, I want to thank everyone who has displayed affection for my cats, Laura, and Dixon, and Ace, who belongs to my son. I have really appreciated the little gifts and notes left by member kitties of Catster. I wish I was able to have Laura attend more dances at the "Movin' and Groovin' " club, but I'm glad we were able to get to one of them, recently. The kitties have made a lot of friends, here, and we have enjoyed all of you. Thank you.

For now, we are on Facebook: For Furriends of Catster and Dogster, and Catster Buddies. We also plan to join Here Kitty at the link:

If we don't hear from some of you, know that you have been in our thoughts. Be blessed, and thank you, again, for the friendships.
