Arrival Story:
My cat Bean was fourteen when our younger cat, Hammond, joined the family quite suddenly (see his profile for the story). The age difference was obviously a problem, and Hammond was getting depressed and overly attached to my fiance and I because Bean wouldn't play with him. So, for his first birthday we decided to get him a little brother -- hence the name Hermanito, which is Spanish slang for "little brother" (he came to live with us right after the Chilean miners had finally been reached and were starting to come up, so we wanted to name him something in Spanish). We went to an adopt-a-thon and spent a decent amount of time trying to find a little guy with the right kind of personality... and are very glad that we did because he is a furry little delight.
Bio:
He had an amazing foster mom, Sue, who took him in when he was a very young kitten. She took amazing care of him before we found and adopted him!
