Back when the world was young, and the gods still walked the Mesa, Man was innocent and was friends with the animals. He was friends with the dogs, and he was friends with the birds. And the birds were stooopid! (that’s for the Tabbies.) But there were no cats.
MOL cats rule and dogs drool (oh mom loves the dogs) but I think they drool and we do rule thanks for putting that in writting for cats (and and dogs) everywhere. Awww, kitties...I am so honored with this story you wrote just for me! It's beautiful! I think my mom's eyes are watering a little 'cause you are the best pals ever to do this for me! We love you all! ~Manytoes & mom~ You saw your pic at the bottom, too, didn't you? The pawrents used to live in Santa Fe. Some of the best scenery around in the U. Oh yes! We did see that cool pic at the bottom! Seems I travel more that my mom! She will not travel anywhere AT ALL! Thanks again, young kittehs! Great story! Awww, even setting aside the cool ruins, New Mexico has some truly magical landscape, ranging from full desert to alpine tundra to deeply forested glades with ferns and rare orchids and other wildflowers. Worth taking a tour sometime, though the Mama DOES understand about not traveling if she can help it. She doesn't travel well anymore herself, though she still has to go out to get books unfortunately. If they would just get that teleportation device working...:) I guess I should of said she doesn't travel anywhere far. She just never has liked it. She rather stay around here in Albuquerque and enjoys staying home with all of us. We agree New Mexico is awesome, but of course we do take it for granted sometimes! Pawsome story! Love that pic of Manytoes;) Awesome! That is an awesome story! And Manytoes is really special and handsome. I have never met a cat with so MANY TOES! (sorry I couldn't resist). I wonder if dogs ever have extra toes? Actually, Toki, that's how I got my name. My dad found me in the backyard and brought me in to show mom. She looked at the cute little black kitten...with big feet, and thought something was wrong with them. Then she squeeed, "Look how many toes it has!!" ('It' because she didn't know I was a 'he' at the time.) She just couldn't stop admiring and touching my little ol' big feet! Oooops! I forgot to answer the dog question! Yes, some breeds of dogs have extra toes called dew claws. Some have them on the back feet, some have them on the front feet, and some on both. Hey, young kitteh!
