Why, thank you. You are funny, little Snow~ but it is true! You are pretty. I don't like snow! It's raining here. We have been very lucky with the weather. It has been spring like until today. All the snow from our freak October snowstorm is gone, but a billion branches and trees came down. It's been really nice and warm here for the past week. Last week before the snow melted, I was out for a walk and ran right into a pile of snow and stopped short. Cold paws! I'm glad I can still go out for walks though. Your pawrents got the kitty hotel outside done just on time. Have fun watching the snow. I agree that Snow the kitty is pretty too. MOL! We will be getting rain this weekend. Not as pretty as Snow. Stay warm! Luv Zoey Have fun looking at that snow! And it did snow during the night - there's about an inch of fluffy accumulation out there. Snow, my dear, you are definitely looking very handsome today! MOL! The kittens came out of the shelter to eat, but are now back inside. Not a "play outside" day!!! It must feel so satisfying to your parents to see the ferals using the shelter they built. My mom says there is nothing so satisfying as when a cat uses and enjoys something that you made them. She said it reminds her (for some reason) of that children's book The Borrowers where the boy gives the little borrower people all the little furniture and stuff and they use and enjoy it. It's a childish glee. Yes, Toki - you have it exactly! The pawrents wanted to be able to help the ferals, but there is only so much one can do - money, resources, time and energy being so very limited. And even then, there's the uncertainty about how a wild creature will react. They could have decided that was the final straw - too much change in their world - and taken off to some other area. But they stayed, and the Mama especially felt like clapping her hands and jumping up and down like a child! It always is pretty. You're a Diary Pick today, Samhain! Congratulations, pal!
