Hey gorgeous in pink!
Oh, how sweet! It is my best color! Can you see me blushing?
Blushing pink! Did you see the blue flowers mom posted for you? They would look good next to you too.
No! We will have to go take a look in a minute!
Funny note: Mom was going to put five of them in a slide show for you but she fell asleep while working on it last night. MOL!
The program I guess was just slow..she said the last thing she remembered was waiting for it to load the pics.
Still haven't gone to look; have been answering all these comments - MOL!!! Am going RIGHT NOW
I left a message about them. Here's another little story, though. When I was in my 20's and rather more daring, I took a roadtrip by myself to Colorado. Camped out in the back of my Datsun for a night or two only, I guess. But I was following some map that said there was a Lost Lake, and on the way I found a patch of Rocky Mountain Columbine - it's their state flower. They were unbelievably gorgeous and so startling to see that blue growing wild like that. This was before my gardening days, so I didn't go digging them up - probably would have been busted by the Colorado DNR!
I betcha it was gorgeous.
The Mama started to get an image off the internet, but remembered she had a pic of the ones from her garden (she bought seed for these) - this pic is from 2001, so it took a while to find it!
Rocky Mountain Columbine
WoW! Are they wild or planted? So pretty.
These were in my garden; I ordered the seed from a catalog I don't see anymore - not sure if they're in business now.
