Meow! My name is Calypso and I was just adopted from the humane society on the 31st. My new humans love me a lot, I know it. They are always playing with me and petting me. They also tell me how beautiful I am. I love my new family. I do miss all my human friends and furfriends at the humane society, but it is very nice having a family again.
My humans also did a lot of research and found out that I am most likely a pixie bob with a spot of siamese in me. I think it is true based on my furbulous traits.
I also have this strange water bowl that I have never seen before. It is black and big and has a stream of water that falls from the top. My girl human calls it a water fountain. If that is what all water fountains look like, then I love them!
Well, that is the most exciting things going on in my life- a new family, a water fountain, and lots of places to sleep! I have already claimed what they call an apartment to myself. I sleep wherever I want...as long as one of my humans is in the same room with me. I also play a little, but not too much. My humans seem to like it when I hit this string on a stick and play with this green glittery squish ball. I must do this more.
I have been sleeping so much. My girl human keeps petting me and rubbing me under my chin- who wouldn't get sleepy with that kind of treatment! My boy human leaves to go to this place called work a lot. I miss him, but he always plays with me when he gets home.
Anyways, I probably should be getting off as I feel another nap coming on...
Oh yeah, before I furget. My pawpads are super dry and flaky. My humans are scared they are going to crack. My girl human puts this sticky stuff on my paws and says it is going to help me. I don't like it too much. I think it is called pass-a-lean? It doesn't smell like fish or chicken or anything pleasant to my kitty nose...that is all I know!
Do any furfriends out there now a way I could heal them quick? I think my humans are taking me to the vet soon so they might find a way to help them then. *cat cries*

What a lovely furever family you have, Calypso. I am happy for you. I'm sory I don't know anything about the pawpads. Were you an outside kitty in your former life?
I was an outside kitty for awhile, but no too long I think. My memory is a little foggy.
