I ran up to my cat tree and climbed it and there in the cubby was the moma Ivey so I was real friendly and peeked in to touch noses with her you know to just say howdy and she growled at me! So I hissed back at her and got down to lay by mom. I am very glad she did not try to chase me.

maybe shes just in a bad mood. nellie gets like that too and hisses at me too when i apporch her.

Hi Alexis I hope you are right all five of us pretty much get along without an arguments cept for boo and callie sometimes they have a spat and sometimes tiny sorta chases little boy so maybe this really was just a bad mood for her. I am really very friendly I hope her and I can be friends

MOm said it was good that she did not chase me she usually does so this was kinda of a good sign, dad said he saw me run from her earlier today, this was her first day to spend the whole day with us cause dad was home.

She just doesn't know you yet, Moe! She will with time get used to you. Life on the streets is all about staying on top. She can't let her guard down....yet.

itz a mom thing moe.....moms N dads iz alwayz fussin at de wee ones..brush yur teeth, take out de trash, cleen yur room, dont eat yur litter, stop shreddin de toy let paper, turn off Garfield N go play........sigh

Oh dear! I don't like to be chased either and when I'm threatened by Meep because he is too aggressive I hiss too. I hope Mama Ivey learns the difference.

Face-to-face contact is probably too scary for her. Give her a little more time, and always an escape route, and she may still come around. It's frustrating, but worth it!! Luv, Tink

Thanks for the encouragement everyfurryone we are doing better, paws crossed, not chases today or so far tonight and she has been lose among us. There were a coule of spats between her and tiny he is getting braver about not running from her.
