Arrival Story: *~**~*In loving memory of Tenshi, the cat who came mysteriously came into my life one afternoon just to leave this world the next morning*~**~* Bio: Tenshi was never really my cat, but I say she is because I didn't want her to die a homeless stray. Our time together was so short I can not even confirm if Tenshi was indeed female. Finding her was a heart wrenthcing ordeal.
It was May 31 a holiday. A family member told me there was a sick cat outside. I went out to check and there was indeed a cat so sick it looked nearly dead. After gettign a towel I lifted the cat up, It was shockingly, sickeningly thin. Even bone, everything could be felt through it's rough tattered skin and fur. First we put it on our stairs and tried to call are humane society. No one answered. The poor cat looked like he was ready to die. He was meowing and hardly moving and I was on the verge of tears. We put him in a box and tried driving to the humane society (Knowing it was probably closed for the holiday.) but just in hopes. It was closed. We called every rescue but everyone was closed. Our emergency vet was opened but all the rescues told us to wait. I listened and I regret it. We kept her in a box on our enclosed porch. She drank but refused to eat anything offered. She peed and had soem diarhea that smelled so horrible I could bearely stand it. She herself smelled strongly of infection. we left her in her box for the night, hope in our hearts. We found her the next morning dead. I've Been On Catster Since:
