Zoes secret dreams made public
To old friends and the newly departedDecember 10th 2012 8:06 pm[ View A Comments (10) ]
We've kind of been busy the last few days. When we started looking over all the diaries tonight, we didn't know how to feel. We were so happy to see old friends up dating their pages....Hey Sweetie, hey Percy! And yet to find out we have lost four friends this weekend, it made us so sad.
Zoe, it's so sad to lose good friends. I wanted to stop by and say I'm thinking of you. With love, Tigger Sending lots of purrs. :( Such a sad week. Thanks for being such a good friend. We've been gone, too, and just stopped in to see what was up. So sorry to hear about the passing of our good friend Tao. :( Went to his page to try to post, but was unable. Will be busy for another week or so; but will try to check back in. Everyone take care, please! Hugs, Sammie and crew That is sad for both of them. I did not know worms could kill a fully grown cat like that. I've heard of two passing because they had a massive amount of fleas and they were anaemic. One was 9 months and the other only a few month old. But I know that was rare because the vet (where the human was working) was shocked it could happen she had never seen it before and she wasn't a young vet. Purrs to all of the families It's sad how many of our pals have crossed to the Rainbow Bridge recently. Sending their families lotsa purrs. Everybody, last night when I wrote this I was in complete despair. It always makes me ill how we lose our friends in batches like this. There's never just one friend there's always two or three. If I seemed harsh, I wasn't just upset and let my emotions get to me. Mr. D, I have never heard of kittens and puppies dying from worms too. But Flicka had just came off of antibiotics for another stomach issue....so as far as I know either the original issue or the combination of the two got her. I do know her owner which is a early teen said they are having major diarrhea and their stomachs are severely bloated. Some of her other cats are sick too. She also said the vet is supposed to be coming out and checking them. She did deworm the others after Flicka's death and said they definitely had worms. If they remain sick I'll let you all know what the vet said. PS- the reason I keep mentioning the owners age is cause I suspect she is the only one on the farm worried about the kits. Which is really sad. Good thing is she is learning she can rely on us to help her. It was a sad start to the week. Mom cried when she read about Burt. We were just so sure he would pull through and flourish. And then we heard about Ethan and Tao and then Flicka. Very sad. We knew about Flickas's family and we thought that the diarrhea was causing severe dehydration, I was worried that they got into something posionous. Skylar, I am hoping we might find out the actual cause of click as death. I wonder about poisoning too. But I still thank it's a combo of all of the above. A weak baby can't fight of other sicknesses. Oh my goodness so much sadness it hurts to hear about them and God bless that youth that cares enough to do the best she can to love and help the kitties. |
