If you would like to play the Spring game, just copy my diary, change the answers to yours and tag five of your friends!
Five Things I Like About Spring:
I could be a butt and say I like how the ladies get randy in the spring but I wont. MOL!
1. Family starts to come over more for cookouts.
2. The smell of the food while they cookout.
3. The food bites I get when they cookout.
4. The back door opening 50 times during cookouts letting all kinds of juicy bugs in to hunt.
5. Oh yeah and I'm already obsessed with our new neighbor which I wouldn't mind to invite to one of our cookouts. Heehee Get it..to eat, not kick back and share a few beers with.
Out of being short on time (and laziness on Mom's part)
I invite any of my wingman to play...consider yourselves tagged.
What is that - a robin?
The folks don't do that much cookout, but no prob with the opening the door a gazillion times a day to let in bugs - oh, yeah - we got that!
Mom isn't into summer cookouts that much...too dang hot even at night. Let me take that back it's the dang southern humidity. I've been where there's no humidity and I'll take a Nevada 101 degree day over a southern 90 any day. I guess Mom doesn't like the summer like yankees get tired of the cold and snow.
Late night, like 10ish, is good for chilling outside time but by then it's to late to enjoy during the week.
I like the cookouts out too - and the opportunity to snag food!
Yeah, 10ish is a fabulous time for walking around outside in the summer here. Daytime heat has let up so that the humidity doesn't smother you (it gets hot and humid here, too) and 'cause of daylight savings time, it's still light out. And about mid July we have fireflies - LOTS of them!
Never thought about it but I guess you guys could be affected by the lakes humidity wise.
Jez begging for food is what it's all about. Remember two years ago I got busted for having my head in the dip bowl. MOL good times!
I thank she's a little small for a robin. Mom isn't good at reconginizing the female species of birds, they are just brown.
Nothing like a good bug hunt, crunch crunch crunch! MOL!
We have neighbors that cook their supper outside almost every night and killjoy meowmie shuts the window so she can't smell it . . . they also play their radio pretty loud . . .
