indoors Arrival Story: We had lost our beloved cat Joe. He was our baby. After a while my husband told me to go pick me out a cat at the pound. At first I didn't want to, but after a couple days I decided he was right it's time to stop grieving. I took my husband with me the next day, I couldn't make up my mind and then I seen a kitten. A black and white kitten in a pile of orange and white kittens. He stood out like a sore thumb. I pulled him out of the cage. He was so little and cute. There was two black spots on his stomach that was so unique I had to have him. Bio: He is very protective of me and Zoe. One of us gets upset and he's there standing like a lion, king of his domain. One time, my husband and I was arguing (probably over something small and stupid) when Zach jumped up on the bed, got in front of me and fluffed up. David looked at him and said "What? What are you going to do?" David looked at me and we both started laughing so hard. He also helped train Diamond, our dog, by doing the same. For awhile there, I didn't want to correct her because I knew Zach would come running. And he did on occasion smack at her. Then, I would have to call him out for doing wrong. Mom and Di spent the weekend at the lake. She stopped in to check on us yesterday morning for awhile and we were being little angels. She feed us, petted us and kissed us bye on the forehead, told us thanks for being good and off she went again. ( the lake is not that far away) This is our typical summer routine and Gris's seperation anxiety is getting better. Which is good.
Well, today Mom walks in and she finds our toys scattered everywhere. There was a huge puke spot on the kitchen floor and litter putty prints all over the sink basin in the bathroom. The plastic bags in the pantry was dragged out into the kitchen. To say the least, the house was destroyed. Mom said "what the heck did you guys do last night????!!!! How many friends did you invite over?"
Mums the word. MOL. All I can say is that it was fun!
Yes, the title seems a little loving, weird huh, but I do adore our Toki. He is my boy....a great wingman. Toki has been here by our sides since we got here. And is also the genus who made my famous "Untied Bow Tie" for me. Mom wrote him and told him what I wanted and he figured out how to make it, in perfect condition I may add. This is for you buddy!
So..... I would love to say "Happy Congrats from all of us on your Cat of the Week status! May you have many more weeks like I did! We love you Toke Toke.
PS- The diary of the Day kitty is an Abby too! Cool huh!
Mom was just reading the main page for us when she came across an article about cats and bathrooms. It asked "are they ( us cats) afraid we won't do our business right or afraid we will lose our owners to the water room? Personally, we all take shifts watching Mom and Guest, that way we don't all have to get up. Mom goes to the bathroom around here and it's like football, the closest and most alert kit yells "I got it".
Anyway, they mentioned cats being afraid of the flush. I'm not. Actually it's the opposite for me, I'm fascinated with the swirling water. Which are you? Afraid or Fascinated?
