A Cat Person or A Dog Person?

Good Morning Lovely Fur-Friends!

So, I over-heard Mama and Papa pondering the question of whether they are a dog person or a cat person? I personally was about to give Mama a pinch, because obviously she loves me most! So, whilst they were engaged in this conversation. They made a list of Pro's and Cons of Cats and Dogs...how on earth they came up with cons for us cats, is a mystery to me! Anyway, so here is the list they came up with!

Fabulous Felines!

Pros's - Con's
-Calm Energy, even when -Quite destructive as kittens!
hyper. Still give it off
in a calm matter. -More Sensitive digestion tract then
dogs. (From personal Experience.
-Affectionate, give off a
more soothing/calm affection -More commonly get UTI, URI, and Gum
then dogs. disease so I have seen.

-Smaller and quieter. Even - Fluffy cat hair is horrible
when they do MEOW its not as compared to dog hair. More
annoying as a SHARP bark. noticeable on clothing.

-WAY easier to potty train!

-Keep themselves clean!

**I'm sure there is more, but I am drawn blank on remembering what they said. You can clearly see that there are more PRO's then Con's.

Dirty Dogs!

Pro's: - Con's:
-Can do more outdoor activities -Larger, more dirty, do not keep
with them! themselves clean!

-Offer more protection functions. -Can be WAY over board on attention
,constantly wanting to be in your
-Have more of a comical outlook face.
on life.
-Can be quite obnoxious!
-Can train multiple tricks,
and techniques. -Harder to Potty Train

Mama came to the conclusion she does like cats and dogs equally. But I am still her number one!

So, what are your Pawrents preferences? Cat or Dog Person?

Meowmy says she likes them equally, too, but then why has she got 2 kitties now, with 4 angel kitties, and only one dog-guy!? MOL!!

dood...R mom haz never meeted a kitteh her dinna like N her likes pups two...but we agree...there be no cons when it comes ta kittehs....proba blee yur mom just SAID that coz angel wuz droolin over her shulder at de time !!

Zach's Mom here....
I see this as a very simple question to answer. If I was to have only one pet, what would it be?

A cat. Simple. I love my dog very much. And I grew up with both cats and dogs all my life but I love that a cat loves you cause they want too not because you feed them. A cats love is harder to achieve...feed a dog and pet him and he's yours forever.

Being a part pit owner myself btw, I would not give up Diamond for the world. I have fell in love with her stance, her doey eyes and her need to bring me toys in the bathroom for me to throw. She is a nervous wreck half the time but I know she adores me and will protect me if need arises. She's my Diamond in the rough with a desperate need for doggy Prozac. She's scared of the cats(half way), garbage trucks and storms..all three will place her nicely under our bed a shaking.

Before Mom got us and before Mom worked with Simon and Tony she would have never considered getting a cat! She has always been a dog person, and was always allergic to cats as a kid, she never really understood the love a cat could give you. Having a cat didn't really make sense to her, her family is not really big animal people which didn't help her opinion on cats, Mol.

Then she started working for Simon and Tony and realized her allergy to cats isn't quite so bad anymore, stray kittens started coming in every once in a while and some were really young and she said she'd be willing to nurse a kitten until its old enough to adopt out. Well one day I came in at two weeks and Mom came to get me, she nursed me and adopted me. She took two other kittens a few weeks later and nursed them back to health, one she found a home for and the other one she adopted too. Now Mom would say she is both cat person and dog person but once in a while leaning toward the cat person side, Mol. Who knew!!

We also have a dog. Mom adopted him when he was 2 years old. He is super shy and has fear aggressive issues. Stewie Loves Mom but only Mom, she finds it hard to work with him sometimes because of it. She loves him very much but wishes he'd be more friendly and happy.
