Arrival Story:
Ned was part of a litter of 8 week old kittens that were born in a barn. The mother cat's owner brought Ned and his brothers & sisters in to be adopted from the pet store I worked at. I fell in love with Ned, and my mom fell in love with his brother Ivan.

Ned was a super cool cat for the 8 years I had him. He lived with me at my first apartment, but I took him to my parent's house for 'play dates' with Ivan. He ended up spending more time there, then with me, as he liked the outdoors and they were in an area where it was 'safe' for him to go outside. Ned loved the car and went everywhere with me, including friend's houses to hang out. He would come when called and was overall just a great friend. Unfortunately, Ned disappeared on day. We searched for him for an entire year with every means imaginable, including a psychic. He was never found. We believe the neighborhood fox had something to do with the disappearance. I will never have another cat that will be allowed outdoors, because of this. Nothing is worse than not knowing what happened to your baby. There is no closure and I still miss my little black man so much.
