Arrival Story:
My Mom and Dad foster kittens from our local Humane Society. Well, I was one of those foster kittens. There were 3 of us fosters (my brother and sister and me). I had been named Trent but no one told my folks so they named me Tuffy. And the Humane Society folks said I was a boy. When it was time to take my siblings and me back to the Humane Society to get fixed and ready for adoption, my folks were very upset over giving me up. They said they were very sad and decided the very next morning (the day after I was fixed) they wanted to adopt me. Since I was going up for adoption very soon they knew they had to act fast so they called the foster coordinator and said they wanted to adopt "the little gray boy". They went immediately to the Humane Society to pick me up and told the lady at the counter they were there to adopt the gray boy from the foster kittens they had just returned the day before. We don't have a little gray boy but there is a little gray girl in that batch, they told my folks. My folks said this wasn't right and told them to bring the kitten they were talking about out to verify everyone was talking about the same kitten. So here I come, all fixed, my tummy shaved, and a girl. I think my folks still can't believe everyone thought I was a boy but I knew all along I was a little girl. So my name was changed from Tuffy to Tuffie and that's my happy story!

I am a good guide kitty for Baby. She's blind. We wrestle on the floor but I always let her win.
