Arrival Story:
She was our very first cat, along with her half sister Smokey, we brought home to live with us. Came from a co-worker at the time who had two litters. It was my husband's idea to get any cats at all. I didn't really want any. Imagine how wrong I was. Besides that, we brought home two 6 week old kitties on a long drive, NOT in a carrier. To this day, I can still remember that ride. I wouldn't change the route we took at all (except to bring a carrier.)

Bio:
I loved her so, and still do. She and her sister, as kittens, loved to play together all the time, and they were so funny climbing the curtains. Hanging on for dear life. That was priceless. Why is it though, as she and her sister got older, instead of playing and being close, they fought. She warmed me at night by snuggling around my chest. And, boy did she love to sit in your lap, purr, knead bread and get combings. Having her and her sister made me want more. When we brought home two sisters, Misty and Smokey were six months, Sparkle and Patches were 8 weeks, Misty threw up for a week. Boy, was she pissed. But, I knew they would all get along, when a week later Patches (a small kitty) was chasing Misty (3 times her size). True love. As she got older, she developed illnesses. First she had a megacolon, which was corrected by surger. Sadly she past away due to complications of diabetes.
