Arrival Story:
A friend's dad found her on the road one day and brought her home to care for her until someone adopted her. (He said she looked like a tiny pile of leaves at first.) It was sometime around Halloween when I adopted her.
Bio:
Lily's named after comedienne Lily Tomlin. She was the victim of a recliner incident at a young age and it may have stunted her growth - she's a tiny, tiny kitty - but otherwise she recovered very well. The emergency vet took her in, found fluid on her lungs, and kept her overnight to observe her and give her antibiotics. We got rid of the recliner right away. As for her nickname of "Li'l Radiohead", she sometimes squints one eye and Radiohead fans will have noticed that singer Thom Yorke has one eye that squints. (I don't mean it in a bad way - I'm a Radiohead fan too.) Although she is a big attention seeker, she's shy around strangers at first and she doesn't like being petted for too long. I chalk that last aspect up to her miniscule attention span.
