Any and all FOOD - I like food, can you tell just look at me.
Mommy picks the food bowl up and tries to stop me from eating
Favorite Nap Spot:
In Bathroom on toilet seat cover
Blackie is a trick cat - she will do anything for food, she will shake paw, sit, lay down and jump from chair to chair like a lion just for a piece of kibble.
With Blackie, it was love at first sight!! She’s a special favorite of ours because she is just so darned mischievous.
We adopted Blackie from Belle Mead Animal Hospital while we were in the process of getting her kitty sister Marbles pre-spay exam. I saw her in a cage at the vets and I thought, oh, what a CUTE little black kitty - what a GREAT friend for Marbles. Because after all it was Marbles who wanted another kitty. Not me or my husband.
Well, my husband thought it was too soon to get another kitty, after all, we only had Marbles for four months – so we left the vet’s office without her that day. How Sad!
Next day, at work, I couldn’t get her out of my mind – I WANTED that black cat, I couldn’t stand the thought of her sitting in a cage at the Vet’s office. She was too cute for that. So, immediately after work, I went straight to the vet’s office and said, “I need to see that cat”. They took me to an exam, room, put her in my arms and she purred and purred – she stole my heart, she was in the carrier and in my car before you can blink an eye. She was going HOME, to my home, and I was soo excited for Marbles to meet her.
Little did I know – novice cat owner that I was – what was in store for me and Blackie.
When we arrived home for our first night together – Marbles greeted me at the door, she did not know that I had brought her a friend – and was anxious to see what was in the carrier. Well, she was extremely surprised when I opened the door and exclaimed, “here Marbles, look what I brought you” and stuck poor little 9-week old Blackie right in her face.
Marbles Hissed SOO LOUD, that she frightened me (she had NEVER hissed before) and I quickly rushed Blackie into the bathroom and hid her from Marbles.
Needed to say poor little Blackie was very lonely in the bathroom and cried all the time for two weeks. Every time Marbles heard her cry, Marbles would hiss.
Two weeks later, Blackie had her coming out party and put Marbles in her place and now they are buddies – even though Blackie knows she can’t mess with a Tortie.
Blackie is the little devil of the house, she’s into anything and everything. Her favorite pass time is knocking over full glasses of liquid and watching the water trickle down into the carpet.
In addition to her rowdy behavior, she is also a trick-cat. Blackie is clicker trained and will do anything for food and I mean anything. She will shake both paws, get up on her haunches, lay down and jump from chair to chair just to get cat food and treats.
On any given day, Blackie can often be found refereeing cat squabbles between Max and Marbles – or ravaging the kitchen cabinets looking for treats that accidentally fell out of their container. She’s a little fatty catty – all 15 pounds of her.
Blackie has one sister, Marbles, who she likes (not necessarily loves) and an adoring boyfriend Max who chirps sweet nothings in her ear.

The other day I met a dog for the first time, a little small shih zu. What a timid little thing. All it did was sit in the owners lap.
But I sat there and STARED at it and sniffed at it too. I couldn't wait for them to leave it alone, so that I could begin my investigation of this creature.
The minute they walked away, I let out a LOUD growl and Boom I went medieval on that dog and scared the daylights out of it.
That's the most fun I've had in YEARS. Stupid Dog!

Last night- I heard Mommy and Daddy talking and they said they are planning to put me on something called Diet Food. What is that anyway? Does that mean more food? I heard that Max is getting this diet food too. YIPEE – talk of any food gets me excited.
Strange, I didn’t hear anything about the tortie one – I guess she’s Getting NOTHING - Hahaha, She’s such a little priss anyway, I don’t know WHY they LOVE HER so much-all that orange discolored fur and attitude – she looks like a Halloween painting accident .
