I had a great day Skids even threw me a party here at the bridge. I want to say thanks so furry much to everfurryone that stopped by to chat and leave comments cards, photos and prizzies. I was headed out to thank you all but catster will not let me see the notes on my pirizzie at the moment. hisssss
My story is kinda like callies, I was also almost a farm cat when I was real little after mom had taken us from the colony (she was still trying to find us all furever homes) I heard her dad say to her I need some mousers on the farm I wouldn't mind havein the calico and the yellow striped tigger with white face and neck...what hey that was me I wasn't a tigger just an alley cat but I was still really scared for mom or anyone to touch me or pick me up and so it would seem like I was a wise choice for the farm as wild cat, it was the lesser of two evils, the farm or a "no kill shelter" they only killed sick kitties, wild kitties and they killed if they were over croweded...........heeeellloo it was kitten season. The July after mom got me in May, she went away for a week and I got real sick while I was home with dad, he told mom ever night that I did not look good and I had real labored breathing, but I was still attempting to eat. Dad come to love me so much that week end as he cared for me that when it came right down to it he could not and would not choose either of the "two evils" He used to tell mom one cat was all they needed, then he was glad when they got two, then he suggested to mom they could "handle" six. Mom and dad are so glad they did my life was cut short and they would have so blamed themselves if I had lost my life on the farm they would never had known why. Now they are blessed to know they did the very best they could do for me and my short life was furry good happy and I was so safe and loved.
Alley cat angel out
We love you Alley Cat. You had a great life in a very short time.
Thanks Zachery it is so good to know you and your family as my friends.
We are more than friends, we are family. And don't worry we're always here for your family.
You know you were a cute little bugger. We are sorry you had to go so early.
Thanks Zach mom is prolly a little emotional writting my diary but that really touched her heart. Thanks. My mom thinks your mom and her had a similar child hood growing up in a country home with lots of animals. Really close to their grandparents. We kinda got that from stuff your mom said in your diaries. Animals have always been a most important part of mom's life and helping them feel safe and happy makes her feel good.
We are sorry you had to leave so early in your life for the bridge. We know how hard it was for your mom and dad.
You are right. mom did grow up on family land. When she was little she had 150 acres to play on. The only thing she feared back then was a neighbors big German Shepards. They had horses.
Mom and Dad has 5 acres out there now of nothing but one Tabacco barn and woods. The old cow pastures and Tabacco fields are all sold off now. Mom used to play hide and go seek in those fields as a child. Wow! As mom tells me this the memories just keep coming.
The family land is 5 min. away from the city we live in. So, Mom grew up with both city and the country way of living.
I guess you had the talk about getting to attached to the farm animals like Mom did. Mom loved this one little calf and Grandpa and Grandma was right it wasn't long and he had been sold at an auction.
Animals have always been in Mom's life. No lie and not bragging, Mom trained her grandparents dogs to do tricks at 6.
We love you Alley Cat!!! This will be short cause mom is just checking emails and she's pooped. But we know this is a hard day for your mommy. It's okay, we're here for you guys.
Thanks Tutti and Lacey sometimes it seems like only yesterday and other days mom realizes how long it's been since she heard my special meow (it was so unique mom cannot even attempt to spell it) or the look of my eyes looking into hers, and so many other things about me she misses, but then any pawrent that has lost a furchild knows this and we fur kids know that we were loved like little human babies.
Zach, mom knows how your mom feels. The memories flood her mind as she types too. She leave us pretty often to go there and visit but now her grand parents are gone...but our grand parents, her mom and dad are still there and they still have a family gathering on the old farm. Her dad still has a garden there and two dogs. The horses, cows , pigs and even the chickens and kittens are gone now. No one really lives there her dad works a garden there every day but goes home to his house in the evening, the deer, coyotes, wild hogs and dogs kinda roam the place. IT was hard for mom not to love the farm animals... and all the stay kitties that showed up there...my shell and the shell of my sisterfur skids (I met her at the bridge) are buried behind the ole well shed. Mom's grand ma was 104 when she left this life for heaven.
Happy Gotcha Day! So glad you got to know love in your life.
Yous lived more in yous short life, than lots do!!! And yous were wanted, and loved, and dats de mostest important thing!! Loves you, Alley!!
Wanted, loved and will always be remembered. In their hearts we are important, we are family! Alley Cat, I'm so happy we share Heaven together, we will always be together to share our dreams, our paths crossed and we know what it was like to live in the never ending world of love. Mom is in tears as she thinks about us, always remembering us in her heart, knowing we will all be together one day..A short life. Sniff..but nonetheless, we are together in Heaven, rockin' the gates 'n sharing the love..furefur 'n efur.

Baby boy blue
Thank Jezebel, and Blizzard I did get so much love in my short life.
Smokey Joe, rockin the gates and sharing the love, I am so furry glad to know you as my bridge friend, my moma and yours gave us the love of a lifetime and you said it, we will see them here and be reunited! I promised to wait here on the bed with my sis skids, in mom's mansion. Moma said when she see Jesus face to face, and then buries her face in our fur, she will sing O Happy Day! and all the furs will cover our ears.
