Arrival Story:
I was watching a tv program about rescued animals. He looked at me and that was it, I knew I had to have him. I applied and spent a terrible night waiting for them to call me back the next morning. I was totally giddy when I was told he would be mine. It was so funny. When they let him out of the transport box in my apartment, he acted like he BELONGED. Well, I guess he DID! He had been so unhappy in the pound that he had gnawed off the hair from his legs. He needs someone to cuddle with and I am privileged to be that person. ------ February 14th, 2006: Jimmy was put to sleep an hour ago. I don't know why it seemed so important to come here and change his entry right away. I guess I'm not at all myself. April 25th, 2006: I still miss my baby like crazy. He was special and he will always be in my heart. He had a heart condition that was only diganosed when he had an embolism before Xmas. He hung on for two more months, but then it got to a point when I just couldn't let it go on.

Bio:
Jimmy is a very sweet, gentle and affectionate cat. I can't understand why anyone would kick a sweetie like that out of their home. Sadly, someone did and it took years to get him to venture on my balcony without fearing I would close the door and not let him back inside. I was very glad that I had put a net around my balcony, when Jimmy jumped after a passing swallow one day. I live on the 4th floor and....
