 Quick Bio:
 Coloration: Gray Tabby

Likes: Sleeping during the day, acting like a maniac at night, her crinkly cat toy, her red bandana and her cardboard scratching box.

Pet-Peeves: When you rub her belly and she lets you know that she wants you to stop by pushing your hand away gently with her rear legs... but you keep rubbing it anyway. (You'll loose a finger that way. ^_*)

Favorite Toy: Live bugs, her crinkly cat toy, a red bandana, and leaves.

Favorite Nap Spot: In the corner in her kitty bed by the sliding glass door or on the corner of the bed by the window.

Skills: Elly is an amazing bug catcher. The second she spots it, she doesn't give up till she's caught it, given it hell, and then devoured it.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: I was feeling lonely and I had decided I wanted to adopt a cat. We found one at a Petsmart, where PAWS was holding an adoption day. All the other cats were healthy and roudy, but one little grey tabby had a bit of a weeze and her eyes were watery, and she was just snoozing away in her cage. Even though she was so weezy, I fell in love with her sweet personality and decided I had to take the little angel home with me. We named her Elly after Elhaym Van Houten in Xenogears, who was sweet and caring and loving to everyone, just like our new little kitty. We can't help but be the nerds we are deep down inside. >.< Elly has since been to the vet and gone through antibiotics to clear up the URI we found out she had due to her kennel life. She's doing wonderful and adabted quickly to her new home with us. It didn't take long at all for her to discover she owns the place.

Bio: Unfortunatly PAWS was not helpful in any way with giving me any information about Elly. I don't know anything about her life before I adopted her. I know from her records that she was spayed when only a month old, and we adopted with an Upper Respiratory Infection. I wonder if she's been with PAWS her entire life. I also wonder if she had a hard time with another family. She's such a sweet heart for a cat, and is so well adjusted. I wish I knew more about her, like how she ended up in the pound and how long she's been with them, but unfortunatly I don't.

We went out togther for the first time today. It was just to the vet, but I'm sure to Elly it wasn't "just to the vet". Vet's are allways so traumatic to cats, but in the human's perspective (that would be me :P ) everything went fine. Elly hated having the vet wipe her eyes off, but she let her do it just like she lets me do it. She didn't like sitting still while the vet checked her tummy and her mouth, but she allowed herself to be heald for the process. She's a real sweet heart, even when she's going through with things she hates going through with. She's so sweet, and I don't think i could be happier with any other cat. I'm so lucky to have been fortunate enough to adopt her.
