String, leaves, bugs.. anything that moves

She always wags her tail; not sure if that's a special skill, but it sure is cute

Arrival Story:
She was born in the shed in our backyard

Jade is a silly little girl. She's very swift and light on her feet. She's prissy, but don't let that fool you - she can definitely hang with the boys!

Lives Remaining:

Forums Motto:
Little Love Bug

Home Sweet Home:
Jade, along with Cory, lives in a shed in our back yard. It is fully carpeted with two windows and two doors. We've installed a cat door for the winter months, and a hanging fan for those hot summer days. There are a handful of cat beds along with a king sized comforter, and not to mention plenty of toys and boxes to play with. They may be outside kitties, but they are definitely spoiled!

Hurricane Irene

Hurricane Irene hit the east cost pretty hard this past weekend. We were out of water and electric for two days, but luckily, my family saw no major flooding or damage. I know many folks were not as fortunate as us. I work at a pet resort/boarding facility; seeing the heartbreak in each owner's eyes was devastating. Of course, they were in good hands with us, but I can't imagine the feeling of evacuating my property, and on top of that, not being able to take my babies with me! I'll continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers, I hope the rest of you will do the same

I was spayed yesterday, and I am now updated on all of my shots. Thank you to the Tom Cat Organization for your low cost program that gives outdoor cats like us the opporunity to live a happy and healthy life!

Please spay and neuter to prevent unwanted animals from ending up in shelters.. you CAN make a difference
