MOL MOL what is going on here, the first thing this morning I was put into a bag Momcat calls it a carrier...I must say I did not like it one bit. I MEOWED AND MEOWED AND MEOWED, SCRATCH AND PUSHED...I was rolling and trying to get out...and guess WHAT! I almost did and when Momcat was driving in traffic....I figured out how to get the zipper open and popped my head out and was trying to make my escape....
Momcat had to drive with one hand and push me back into this so called carrier but to me it was a prison....No like at all!!!!When she came to a stop she had to do the 2 zippers on the side so I wouldn't figure out how to get out again...and I didn't...bad for me, good for Momcat.
I continued to MEOW AND MEOW, not one happy princess at all. I didn't know what was going on I have only been to the Vet 1 time before when Mom first got me and this was not a good experience at all...
Finally Momcat stops the car and she gets out and comes to our side of the car to get us out....I am looking and looking where are we and what is this. Then we walk into a building and then I smell some smells....oh my I am not sure I am going to like this.
Finally into the room and Momcat lets me out, finally I can make my escape...oh no right she has my harness on which I might say I hate and a leash...on to the table a cold table but Mom was holding me...
The Vet Tech saw blood, Momcat didn't because I was facing away from her. The blood was all over my paw, my ear and face...Mom couldn't believe what she was seeing and she didn't realize what had happened.
Well with all of the pawing and scratching on the mesh on the carrier I pulled one of my nails almost out it was hanging.
Mom had to hold something over my paw to get it to stop, finally they managed to stop the bleeding.
The Vet Tech took my temperature in my ear..thank goodness, she weighed me I am 11.25 lbs....
Once Dr. Kathy came in she wanted to look at my nail, she decided it need to be cut off...so off I went to the back, they made it so I didn't feel anything on my paw, they cut it off, cleaned up my paw and face, gave me a shot of antibiotic and a liquid band aid. I am OK really I am, but Momcat is shocked that I wanted out so bad that I hurt myself.
My Dr Kathy says I am doing good, no problems, Momcat asked about my eyes if them being blue causes me not to want to jump over things like the doggies gate, she told Momcat that my eyes are fine and some cats just don't like to jump over things for whatever reason.
She also took blood to do a Titer test to see if the shots I got before Momcat adopted me are still good...
Well I must say this is not a day I want to remember and go through again, Momcat told me you know Tu Two this is something you have to do every once in awhile.
Again a Xena said Momcat was shocked at the bill, but it was for the 2 of us and we both are having test done that cost....luckily most of Xena's bill the insurance will send a check to Momcat to help pay the bill, but mine probably not except for the wellness part some of it will be paid...she said any thing is better than nothing...thank goodness for pet insurance.
So this Princess was not a good girl today but Dr. Kathy did tell Mom I was very good in the back and all of the Techs were coming to see me, they all think I am the cutest...see Mom I can be good, it was just the carrier and the drive there...
Mom is hoping I learn my lesson and next time I will go into the hard carrier so I can't get out and hopefully I will never hurt my nail again.
Well this Princess has had a ruff day, first the harness & leash, a carrier I didn't like at all and the drive to and back...
All I can say is MEOW MEOW MEOW I am finally home and safe...
I am not that bad really I am a good girl!
Princess Tu Two sending love and hugs to you all
oh you poor thing....I am so glad that you are ok and didn't really hurt yourself....going to the VET is not a fun day at all so I hope your mom gave you lots of love and treats when you got home....take good care of your paw and face Tu Two
Hugs & Kisses
Wow! That sounds like one stressful vet visit!! Who knew that you'd break a nail scratching at your carrier. Mom says she sees a bunch of broken nail pets come through at the clinic she works at. But that would have scared our Mom too. Hopefully it will be all better soon!
Mom has thought about doing titre testing too (more for Stewie, our dog, but us too), but doesn't know a lot about it. Most vets just say the vaccines are cheaper then the titre test, but Mom doesn't want to over vaccinate either...
Its good to hear you are now safe at home and hopefully you'll get tons of treats for what your Momcat put you though, Mol.

My BFF what a terrible day and you lost a nail too. I'm so glad you are back home and safe from the terrible place. I too fight and fight to get out.
I'm so sorry you hurt yourself! It sounds like a really awful day! *flips tail sadly*
OMC! I can feel with you, the vet trips scare the pee right out of me, and sometimes worse...Hope your sore paw will be OK.
Hope your Mom's wallet recovers too...
Now go and have a nice long nap!
I talk alot in the carrier, but Bella really talks, and Natalie yowls.
Awww Tu Two, I am sorry that you hurt your paw. Liquid bandaid eh, that sounds cool. Yes, definately the hard carrier for you next time. I always hide in the back of the carrier and hope the vet doesn't see me. It actually worked once. The Doc looked at Timo's ear infection and they only trimmed my nails and then put me back in the carrier. Mom says I was just along for the ride because they did an alarm test in our building.
Purrs that your nail doesn't hurt.
Ouch, Tu Two - that must have hurt. I hope your paw's not too sore and the nail heals quickly.
I don't mind being in the carrier -- I sleep in mine all the time -- and I don't mind riding in the car. But I don't like being at the vet! The only good part is when I get treats, but I don't think it's worth it for a few treats.
Glad to hear that you`re okay.. And that you are home safe now.. You deserve lots of treats today purrty girl.
Love & Purrs,
Glad you're okay.
Oh my cats!!! How did we miss this??!! So sorry to hear about your stressful trip to the vet and hurt paw too!! What a day! Glad you are home and on the road to recovery!!
Hugs and purrs,
