Springtime Poem

I wrote this poem for a poetry thread in one of my kewl groups, The Cat`s Den! I wanted to share it in my diary!

Springtime Fun

Jump, hop, run,
Through the grass I go!
I stalk the birds,
And stay down low.

I like to chase bugs,
And paw at garter snakes too.
I bring home small lizards--
And my mom says “ew”!

Sometimes I lay in the sun,
Alongside the dogs.
One time my mom caught me
Licking a huge frog!

In the evening,
I like to come in,
For brofur playtime
And Fancy Feast din-din!

It seems like my mom is always taking pictures and videos of me. I love it and I always start posing when I see her with the camera.

2. Describe one thing your pet pawrent does that you think is REALLY LAME.

She doesn’t feed me Fancy Feast all day whenever I want it! I try really hard to get her to, by standing in the kitchen and staring at her, or tripping her when she comes by, but it doesn’t work.
