Last night or early this morning my sweet angel Ollie Forever Loved came to visit me. He decorated a tree for me, brought fresh baked gingerbread cookies from the Bridge (they are heavenly) and of course, hung some mistletoe for kisses! We had some light snow last night and I made a snowman and sent it to him He probably saw me lay down and make some snow angels too. I was thinking of him and, of course, had some bittersweet feelings. We know that so many of our friends are celebrating the holidays without family members, friends and of course our pals that have gone to the Rainbow Bridge. A person missing from the table, a card not received this year, someone you didn't shop for even though you saw the perfect gift that you know they would have loved. It is a difficult season and our thoughts and purrs and prayers are with them. We thank those that are no longer physically here with us; for the love, the laughter, the tenderness and caring, the moments we shared. We thank them and look back with appreciation for the joy in our lives that we were graced to have.
Purrs that you angels will visit with you this holiday season, if only in your dreams.

They boys are earning their keep around here. They didn't catch the mouse last night so Mom let them try again this morning. They were both anxious to get to work today, right after they had their breakfast. Mom let them down the basement to get to work and when she came down about 1/2 hour later ...there was a gift left for her on the carpet by the computer desk! Yep someone caught mouse, but they won't say who did it. Maybe it was tag team style! Who knows?
Mom said that they may come back on the job, because she thinks she still heard "mouse noises". She is also going to have to do some work to see where they are getting in. We heard that they only need a hole the size of a nickle to squeeze in.
It is good to know that my brothers can do something besides being "Eye Candy" and "Lap Warmers"!

My brave brothers have been called to duty. Mom came upstairs and yelled each of their names. They have an important job this morning. Rusty and Skylar are on mouse patrol. It seems Mom saw a mouse in the basement. Rusty is pretty good at sniffing them out. Skylar has never tried, but Mom wanted to give him the chance to see what he would do. They are both on high alert. They have gotten his scent and are focused. Must be one foolish mouse to enter a house with 9 cats! Wonder which of my brothers will catch him?
