Arrival Story:
Lucy was a stray that our neighbors threw out when they moved. She looks almost like our other cat Thelma. So one morning at 4 a.m. my husband was leaving for work and thought our cat Thelma had somehow gotten out of the house (my cats have never been outside). So my husband brought her in and went to work. I wake up at 6 and see an extra cat in the house and was like WTF?!? LOL but I didn't have the heart to put her back out on the streets because I knew her owner had moved and she was scrawny and hungry and pretty sweet so we kept her. We actually posted notices that we found her and a notice on petfinder for 90 days before we found her old owner (the local schools coach for crying out loud, what a bad role model) and he said they didn't want her that is why they abandoned her. So we officially made her part of the family around New Years 2010.
