Arrival Story:
Archie was abandoned by a barn cat the day he was born. Out of four, Archie and a sister survived.
Bio:
At one week of age, both of Archie's back legs were broken when he was dropped by a child. He developed osteomyelitis in one. Now one hind leg is fused at the ankle, the other at the knee, and one front shoulder is always dislocated because of the way he walks.
In December of 2011 Archie was diagnosed with cancer (Vaccine Associated Sarcoma). In January of 2012 we learned that it had metastasized to his lymph system and one salivary gland.
It has been a year, and he is doing well!
