Arrival Story:
Giancarlo is the littermate of Tanuki and Valentino. They were all born to a beautiful cat who lives in an alley a few blocks away. See her photo on the left. Tanuki came to live with us in mid-December, 2009 after she developed a respiratory infection. Giancarlo and Valentino lived outside through a very snowy and cold winter. Then in March, 2010 Giancarlo developed respiratory and eye infections and we brought him to the vet too. He loved being inside with Tanuki, and we couldn't bear to separate them. Then their brother Valentino came down with the same thing -- only more severe -- in April, and he joined his siblings inside.
