I sure miss my Mommy!

Wow, Mommy's been gone a long, long time. I hope she misses me as much as I miss her. I hope she comes back! She told me she was just going away for a little while, but I don't know how to tell time. The guy she left me with said she's coming back on Tuesday - whatever that means. I just know my special spot hasn't been rubbed in a long time! Nobody knows where it is except Mommy. And the guy doesn't give me kisses on my ear either. At least he plays with me and brushes me a lot like Mommy used to. But it's just not the same, *sigh*. Ok, the sunbeam has moved to my favorite corner so it's time for me to head over there for my afternoon bird-watching. I miss you Mommy!

I miss her!

She's right here, but hasn't petted me hardly at all today. She says she is busy "working". I don't understand why she has to do that all the time. Why can't she come lay with me in the sun? We have so much fun when we're playing!

I think it's funny how the world thinks the HUMANS are the ones who have it all figured out! Well, I will just let her keep working and doze off until she finds me....
