Arrival Story: Peepers, along with her sisters and cat-mommy, were found thrown out at a dump then taken to a very high kill shelter. I was notified that they had less than 24 hours to live and were very sick so nobody would consider rescuing them. Plus nobody wanted this family because all but one were black or black and white. We love black kitties so they came home to us.
They were so very sick! Upper respiratory infections, parasites, eye infections...the list is never ending. These babies and their mama, Rosa, spent weeks at the vet's office in isolation and receiving breathing treatments, IV antibiotics, and eye treatments. We were unsure if they'd be blind or even survive. But they did!!
When Rosa's family first came home, I honestly didn't know if they would survive and was too busy feeding, cleaning eyes, etc. to figure out if they were male or female. So I gave them names that would work for either! Mama Rosa was named for Rosa Parks, a true survivor, and because the fur on her back looks reddish.
Tommie was named for a very brave Catster kitty named Tommy who survived much longer with FeLV than anyone dared home. Bo Peep (Peepers) was named for my own dear Bo who journeyed to the Bridge one week to the day that this family was saved. Teddi was named for a Teddy Bear because she's cute and cuddly.
All are healthy and happy now and ready for forever homes. The three sisters love to play and cuddle. They get along well together but can be adopted separately. Won't you give these brave survivors a forever, loving home?

Bio: Peepers loves to cuddle and purr. She's a playful girl and gets along well with her siblings and our other kitties. She's a bit shy at first with strangers but once she knows and trusts you, she's a love-bug!
