Egyptian Queen and Netherland's Hero

Sun Sign:
January 3rd 2009

Arrival Story:
Welcome to our wedding page. Baba and I are childhood sweethearts and we are about the same age. Through Catster we met and fell in love. He is the sweetest and most considerate cat I have ever met. From the time he was a kitten, his concern was always for my welfare. Recently he has been an intregal part of helping his sister Bella with her new babies. Besides his sweet adorable, loving and considerate pursonality, he has the most beautiful shiney black fur and has the most handsome face of any mancat I have met. Some say long distance romances do not last. Well...ours proves everyfur wrong. He lives in the Netherlands. It has not made one bit of difference. He is the cat of my dreams and we are to be married in a few weeks. I love you my Netherland's hero.

This beautiful poem was written by my husband my Sweet Baba Boy on the day of our second Anniversary. I love you my sweet husband, I love you, my Endless Love.

~~ One Dream ~~

If I could have one dream, and play it every night
I would hold you tight in my paws forever
Never letting you out of my sight

~~ Two Hearts ~~

Through life walking together, every lonely mile
We'll climb that mountain paw in paw
Conquering each and every trial

~~ One Vision ~~

Painting our own sunsets, dancing on the stars
Blowing kisses at the moon each night
Catching rainbows from afar

~~ One Wish ~~

If I can have one wish, it would be only you
Holding you forever in these paws
Knowing dreams come true

~~ One Love ~i love you bastet

Two years ago today we stood in front of God and furrends and pronounced our furever and Endless Love fur one another. It was a few weeks later when tragedy struck my heart, my life. My husband, my sweet Baba Boy was taken from me by a dog who chased him into the lake as he was running for his life. The dog jumped into the lake grabbed him, and snatched the life from him, and because as we are one, my life as well.

My Sweet Baba sweet husband, this is fur you.

As I gaze up at night’s star filled skies,
I see the glow from your amber eyes.
When in the sky appears God’s bow,
I feel your love begin to grow.

As the breeze falls across your face,
I feel your kiss and warm embrace.
As the sun in the morning begins it rise,
Your love grows stronger, as hours tick by.

My sweet Baba, I miss you so,
When all too soon you had to go.
God called you home, it seemed to be
He needed you more than me.

Two years ago I pledged to thee,
To be loyal and loving for all to see.
Happy Anniversary sweet Angel my love,
Happy Anniversary my Endless Love.

An Ode To My Baba...My Endless Love

Not two months have passed since my beloved Baba and I became husband and wife. And not two years have passed since our love grew from friendship as we grew from kittens to adults. Now a tragic turn of events snuffed out his young life and took him from me. I have spent hours looking at our wedding page and looking at our beautiful wedding and pondering our vows. I hold him deep in my heart and he will live there with me forever. I wrote this Ode to My Love, To My Sweet Baba..the first, only and last love of my life.

A little over a year ago,
A light came into my life.
In the form of yellow eyes aglow,
And fur as black as night.

My heart he stole as a thief by night,
His friendship he did proclaim.
He took my paw and held it tight,
From then on I wasn’t the same.

He was always there whether I stood or fell,
With a loving word or two.
And a tender touch that made me well,
On my days of illness, too.

Then out of this friendship a strong love grew,
As strong as the sturdiest tree.
The strongest of storms that ever blew,
Could not destroy this love you see.
Our wedding day I stood by him,
And pledged an Endless Love,
My First and last through eternity,
As pure as a snow white dove.

My love said as he gazed at me,
“I take you now as my wife,
Standing beside you for all to see,
I will remain so the rest of my life.”

“I love you Bastet,” he whispered low,
And I whispered, “I love you too.”
He added, “I will not let you go,
Now that I finally found you.
Some search all their lives looking for one,
But I have been blessed with you.
Forever until the dying sun,
I shall hold and cherish you.”

Not two months passed since that special day,
When our two hearts as one first beat,
Now tragedy has taken away,
A life now incomplete.

Oh, my love, My Endless Love,
You fly with the angels high.
Now, Baba my love, My Endless Love,
A kiss…‘til one day beside you I lie.
