Post Christmas Greetings...Happy New Year...And Meowmy Is- Slipping Up, Sheesh!

Happy Mew Year to all you kitties!
And Happy New Year to your furmiles!
We hope that 2013 will be fun, healthy and amewsing!

If you and your peeps are in need of a giggle, or purrhaps a groan, here are some fun words penned by someone inside the big web of the world...purrhaps you can relate to them furry well:

The Week After Christmas

Twas the week after Christmas and all through the house
Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.

The cookies I'd nibbled, the eggnog I'd taste.
All the holiday parties had gone to my waist.

When I got on the scales there arose such a number!
When I walked to the store (less a walk than a lumber).

I'd remember the marvelous meals I'd prepared;
The gravies and sauces and beef nicely rared,

The wine and the rum balls, the bread and the cheese
And the way I'd never said, "No thank you, please."

So--away with the last of the sour cream dip,
Get rid of the fruitcake, every cracker and chip...

Every last bit of food that I like must be banished
Till all the additional ounces have vanished.

I won't have a cookie--not even a lick.
I'll want only to chew on a long celery stick.

I won't have hot biscuits, or corn bread, or pie,
I'll munch on a carrot and quietly cry.

I'm hungry, I'm lonesome, and life is a bore --
But isn't that what January is for?

Unable to giggle, no longer a riot.
Happy New Year to all and to all a good diet!

MOL!! MOL!

And while we were thinking upon this wise tidbit, meowmy realized that we have now been here in Catsterland for over 3 years!
Well, Pipo & Minko's separate pages actually, WeBees was 'invented' about a year later...
Meowmy gets so busy doing pics fur other furs, and letting us pawlay on your pages that she neglects our own pages, MOL! So she missed the fact that as a furmily we have been here since Dec 2009. There are now 3 candles on our little cakes, and 2 on this age we have together.

Oh well, we are here and that is the main thing.
We LOVE you and we LOVE Catster!!

I'm so proud of my Girl Human she has been on a Primal Paleo diet since Sept. lost 20 lbs and did not gain it back over the holidays. She made Paleo brownies, cookies and cheesecake and everyone loved them. She only got to enjoy some of the leftovers. Me, I never gain an ounce. I got a new cat tree in November. Girl Human got it on Black Friday for $50. reg 179.00, lucky me. I have been keeping myself trim running between my two trees and climbing them to the very top. I only wish there were stairs across the wall so I could go completely crazy. I keep looking for them when I'm up high but non yet. Hope you guys had a wonderful Holidays. Have a wonderful new year also.

Belated congratulations on your Catster Anniversary! Lovely poetry. Mom was planning on being good this year but all the people she works with decided this was the year to give out homemade goodies for Christmas presents. The best laid plans... MOL

Love the poem, MOL. Yup, that's our Mom too. Needs more exercise and loose weight. Oh well, she's working on it.

My 4th annipurrsary was January 4th. Mietzi has been here a few days longer. I had sent her ahead to scout out the place. Yes, Mom still has the Christmas decorations up on our pages. No time to take it down.

Yep dat poem had us on da giggley side too, Pipo 'n Minko!~ We got a three year annifurrsary comin' up too first o' March! Times been fun 'n we all furmilies here! Iz what makes Catster da greatest! 'n U doods shur take spawcial time outta Ur day's to create pawsome 'n lovely piccies fur efuryone! Thank U~! Ur so kind 'n furtastic!! Concats on Ur 3 yrs 'n many more's to come!! Mom's done really good 'n hazn't put back on dem 30 lbs her lost since mid summer. PURRS ON~!!
