I have been playing a lot with my bestest furend Fitz. We grew up together and used to live in Pop's foster room. He decided to adopt me since my FIV status was a problem. Mss Fitz is still has problems with being out in public.
She went to an event yesterday and said it was just awful. She was real glad there were kittens so people were asking to hold them and not her. She said Pops tried a couple times to get her to come out but she just did her Cat-in-a-Coma impersonation. She said she had to really play the part a few times as she heard her name.
Fitz what can I say to change your mind? It is good to be adopted to a forever home. Really.
Oh well. Want to play? Lets play In-The-Box! Me First!
Mr B with FIV-WNLT (We Need Love Too)
I was shy at adoptions too so nobody wanted me. I would just cower and shake. It's very skeery there. My momcat didn't want me either, she took Rex home. A couple of months later she came to my foster home and took me home. Maybe Fitz will get lucky like I did.
We really hope someone will decide that Fitz just has to be *their* kitty!
When I was in the shelter, I was the complete opposite of shy - loud and CRAZY! It must be hard for a shy kitty.
When I lived at the Rescue, I was 'old' and no one wanted me, though I was always kind to people. Everyone wanted kittens.
Then one day my mom and dad walked in. Daddy saw me huddled in my cage and that was 'it'. I went home that week.
This miracle my dear, it happens. When we least expect it comes that quiet, knowing person who loves and understands cats. Til then, you are safe.
lots of love and purrs,
Such sweet stories of love : )
Huggs to you ManCat Mr. B and sendin' air ((purrs)) for Fitz : )
