Arrival Story:
I am a rescue from the Upland Animal Shelter. I was adopted on mother's day 2010, I was 8 months old. I can't tell my new owners what my life was like before I got picked up. The adjustment period was very different for us owners from any of our other cats that came before Monet. We believe she may have been abused as she does not like to be touched on the head and will back away quickly if you try to touch her head, she would also do this early on if you moved too quickly around her.

I've adjusted well to my new home. My people let me go anywhere and on anything in the house.

They sometimes get sad because they miss their last cat, but I always make them feel better by making them laugh. The two oldest people in the house are around a lot because they are something called "retired". I can always get one of them to play with me.

I inherited a lot of things from their last cat, Spaz. I have my own cat condo that I don't even have to share.
